PolyU SPEED Undergraduate Top-up Degree Programmes
I. Registration Procedures
Applicants will be considered officially registered on the programme at PolyU SPEED only when they have fulfilled the admission condition(s), if any, and completed ALL the steps of the registration procedures below by the specified due dates. Failure to do so will be considered as having given up the study place at PolyU SPEED.

1. | (a) Pay the registration AND remaining fees at admission according to details of the 2 debit notes provided in the Notice of Offer. Details of the debit notes can also be viewed under “Payment of Fees” after logging in to the PolyU SPEED Online Application for Admission (OAA) system.

2. | (a) Activate CPCE student account in PolyU SPEED

3. | Upload the following documents to the designated fields under “Supporting Documents” after logging in to the PolyU SPEED Online Application for Admission (OAA) system by the due date specified:
(a) a recent (within 6 months) digital passport-sized colour photograph of yourself in JPG (only) format (JPEG format is not acceptable); and (b) official FINAL transcript of study proving the successful completion of the academic qualification(s) as claimed in your application (in file name “finaltranscript”), if you have not completed the programme at the time of application [not required for HKCC students]

II. Application for Deferment of Payment under Special Circumstances for Remaining Fees
For the registration fee, no deferment of payment will be accepted. Applicants who do not settle the registration fee by the payment deadline will result in their study places being forfeited.
Eligibility
For the remaining minimum tuition fees for the prescribed study load for the first semester of the student’s study plus a one-off caution money (i.e. remaining fees at admission), application for deferment of payment will be considered only if the applicant intends to apply for the government’s “Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students” (FASP) or “Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students” (NLSPS) in the academic year in which he/she is admitted AND:
- he/she was a recipient of the FASP or NLSPS in the latest year of study before the academic year in which he/she is admitted; OR
- he/she or his/her parent/guardian is a current recipient of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA); OR
- he/she or his/her parent/guardian is a current debtor under bankruptcy proceedings/orders; OR
- he/she or his/her parent/guardian is a current recipient of any other major government subsidies, e.g. disability allowance.
Application for deferment of payment from part-time students for remaining fees at admission will normally not be entertained.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants should apply through the online platform by clicking “Application for Deferral of Tuition Fee Payment & Undertaking” (login with SPEED student account is required) at least 2 workdays before the prescribed payment deadline for the remaining fees at admission with the supporting documents to substantiate the eligibility in connection to the status 1), 2), 3) or/and 4) as mentioned above.
Late application or applications without any supporting documents will not be accepted.
Result Announcement
- For successful applications, the last payment date for the remaining fees at admission will be extended for 30 calendar days from programme commencement for the students concerned. Students should visit the Student Account Portal at www.cpce-polyu.edu.hk/sap and log in to the system for payment details.
- For unsuccessful applications, students are required to settle the remaining fees at admission by the original payment deadline. Failure in doing so will result in the study place being forfeited.
- Students will normally be notified of the application results in 7 workdays upon receipt of their applications and the supporting documents.
