I.   Registration Procedures

Applicants will be considered officially registered on the programme at PolyU SPEED only when they have fulfilled the admission condition(s), if any, and completed ALL the steps of the registration procedures below by the specified due dates.  Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your admission offer and registration at PolyU SPEED.


Non-local students are required to obtain a valid student visa / entry permit before programme commencement.

1.

(a)    Pay the registration AND remaining fees at admission according to details of the 2 debit notes provided in the Notice of Offer. Details of the debit notes can also be viewed under “Payment of Fees” after logging in to the PolyU SPEED Online Application for Admission (OAA) system.

(b)    Submit the duly completed “Application for Entry for Study in Hong Kong” (form ID 995A) together with necessary documents to the CPCE Academic Registry in person/ by express delivery. Please refer to www.speed-polyu.edu.hk/admission/notes-to-non-local-students-and-instructions-for-student-visa-entry-permit-application for details.

2.

Arrange the submission of the required documents to CPCE Academic Registry for qualification check (except for those obtained from PolyU SPEED and PolyU HKCC). Please refer to the “Guidelines on Submission of Required Documents for Qualification Verification” for details. 


a) For applicants who have already obtained their entry qualifications at the time of application


b) For applicants whose entry qualifications have forthcoming results

For offers issued on or before 30 June 2025
a) 30 June 2025 or within 2 weeks from the issue day of the notice of offers, whichever is later
b) within 2 weeks of the official assessment result announcement date


For offers issued after 30 June 2025
a) within 1 week upon the issue day of the notice of offers 
b) within 1 week of the official assessment result announcement date

3.Activate CPCE student account in PolyU SPEED

5 workdays after settling registration fee
4.

Log in to PolyU SPEED Online Application for Admission (OAA) (under “Supporting Documents”) and upload the following by the due date specified:


- a recent (within 6 months) digital passport-sized colour photograph of yourself in JPG (only) format (JPEG format is not acceptable) 

Same as the registration fee payment deadline as stated on the Notice of Offer 
5.

Register / choose elective subjects for the first semester of the student’s study, if applicable

Note: Student account must be activated beforehand

a) Submit other supporting documents (e.g. employment letter) (if applicable); AND

b) Collect Student Identity Card

b) Submit a copy of the Landing Slip; AND 
c) Collect Student Identity Card
