The PolyU School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) and Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) collaborate to catapult international scholarly exchange and research.

PolyU SPEED received a total funding of HK$674,874 from the Research Grants Council (RGC)'s Inter-Institutional Development Scheme (IIDS) in 2016-2017 (Ref: UGC/IIDS24/B02/16), allowing it to collaborate with CSEAR in a range of research and scholarly activities in the field of social and environmental accounting as well as responsible investment.

CSEAR was initially established at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland by Prof. Rob Gray, and SPEED has recently set up a North Asia Office for the Centre in Hong Kong which shares its meaningful goal to enhance, promote and disseminate research and knowledge in the field of social and environmental accounting and reporting as a means to envisage and build a more sustainable society and economy.
