PolyU CPCE Scholarships and Studentships (for 2024/25 Cohort)
The following scholarships and studentships are applicable to students who are admitted to full-time or part-time PolyU SPEED undergraduate top-up degree programmes leading to a degree awarded by PolyU in the 2024/25 intake cohort.

| Aim | To recognise students’ outstanding co-curricular achievements in the areas of services, leadership of student organisations, sports, and arts, etc. |
| Eligibility | Full-time Year-2 students or Part-time Year-2 or above1 students within their normal duration of study, who have achieved a cumulative GPA of not lower than 1.7 in Semester One of the award year |
| Requirement | Students who can demonstrate track records in the past 2-3 years of active participation in sports, co-curricular activities or performing arts and continuously striving for improvement and excellence |

| Aim | To provide more opportunities for students to widen their horizons and enforce their academic knowledge by subsidising part of their expenses of various mainland China / overseas study visits and cultural exchanges |

| Requirement | Preference goes to students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above in the previous semester (if applicable) and those who have not participated in any outbound tours before. For certain tours, priority will be given to students taking specific programmes or subjects |

| Mainland/Overseas International Enrichment Scholarship | |

Notes
1. PolyU SPEED part-time undergraduate top-up degree programmes are in 3-year or 4-year normal duration. For students who are enrolled in a 3-year part-time programme, they are eligible for Progressing Scholarships for up to 2 years, while those enrolled in a 4-year part-time programme, they are eligible for Progressing Scholarships for up to 3 years.
2. Awardees must be on an active student status (or graduate status) at the time the scholarship is disbursed, with no outstanding tuition fees payable to CPCE / SPEED.
3. For awardees who have been approved for “Deferred Study” or “Zero Subject Enrolment” at the time of disbursement, payment will be put on hold until they resume their studies. Upon resumption of study, awardees are required to submit a request to the College Student Affairs Office (CSAO) for reassessment of their scholarship eligibility. This clause applies only to Admission Scholarships / Studentships and Progressing Scholarships.
4. Students who have disciplinary records will not be eligible for any scholarships / studentships from CPCE.
5. CPCE / SPEED will review individual cases to determine student eligibility, including cases involving a change of study mode within the relevant academic year.
6. CPCE / SPEED possesses the final right of interpretation and decision regarding the scholarship requirements and student eligibility.
7. Details of the above scholarships/ studentships are subject to change without prior notice.
