BHM Professional Talk Series: AI Robotics and Cultural Tourism

On 9 October 2025, the BHM Professional Talk Series welcomed Mr Jacky Yau, Director of the Robot Institute of Hong Kong, who delivered a Professional Talk titled “How Could AI Robotics Enhance Tourists’ Experience – A Case of Hong Kong Cultural Tourism”. The session provided students from PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management with valuable insights into the growing role of AI and robotics in tourism. 

Mr Yau conducted live demonstrations using two robots and shared both local and global examples of technological innovation. The interactive session offered practical perspectives on how technology can enrich visitor experiences and improve operational efficiency, inspiring the students to embrace future advancements in the industry.
