Over 100 Student Teams Compete in Business Excellence Contest 2021/22
The annual Business Excellence Contest came to a close in April 2022. This year’s contest was divided into the Secondary Group (Secondary 4 to 6 students) and the Post-secondary Group (sub-degree and self-financing undergraduate students) for the first time, attracting over 100 student teams to compete for the championship.
With the theme of “Green Innovation Campaign”, the contest required the participating teams to select a real corporation in Hong Kong, conduct a business and market analysis, formulate a green innovation campaign for a new product (package) /service, and then develop a promotional strategy.
The contest kicked off on 21 January 2022 with an online talk delivered by Mr Victor Kwong, General Manager-Corporate Sustainability of Towngas. Mr Kwong shared with over 200 participants the essence of business and market analysis as well as the necessary knowledge and skills of developing a green innovation campaign.
All the shortlisted teams for the final presented their proposals via PowerPoint with voice-overs. The competition results below were announced on 22 April 2022.
