Five Academic Members Receive CPCE Research-Scholarly Performance Awards

The College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) is pleased to announce the two recipients of the CPCE Dean’s Award for Outstanding Research-Scholarly Performance and the three recipients of the CPCE Award for Outstanding Research-Scholarly Performance 2019/20 selected from the four Academic Divisions of the College.

The award presentation ceremony, held on the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus on 18 January 2021, kicked off with an opening speech delivered by Prof C W Leung, Chairman of Research Committee and Associate Dean (Research) of CPCE.
Prof C W Leung extended his congratulations and gratitude to the award recipients. He pointed out that research capacity requires long-term investment and collaborative efforts. “CPCE will continue to provide resources and support, from establishment of research centres to promotion of inter-divisional research projects, so as to create a favourable research environment for our academics.”
Prof Peter Yuen, Dean of CPCE, then presented the biennial awards to the five outstanding scholars in recognition of their valuable research outputs that have contributed to the development of research and scholarly activities of the College and the academia as a whole.
