Guest Talk on the Future of Sustainable Cruise Travel

On 2 May 2026, PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management hosted Ms Patricia Yuen, Director of Cruise at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, for a guest talk titled “Charting the Future of Sustainable Cruise Travel”.

Drawing on more than three decades of experience in cruise operations, destination marketing, and strategic development, Ms Yuen offered an insightful exploration of Hong Kong’s role as a leading cruise hub. She highlighted emerging opportunities in Asia’s post-pandemic market while underscoring the importance of sustainable tourism practices, green business strategies, and operational innovation in shaping the industry’s future.
