Immersive Journey into Ancient Shu Civilisation

On 15 November 2025, students from PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management visited the Hong Kong Maritime Museum to experience the “VOYAGE INTO SHU: Exploring Sanxingdui and Jinsha – An Immersive Archaeology VR and Exhibition.”

The innovative exhibition combined the “Exploring Sanxingdui VR Experience” with a series of interactive installations that brought history vividly to life. The students immersed themselves in the excavation process, embarking on a cultural journey that spanned thousands of years. Through this immersive encounter, they gained a deeper appreciation of Sanxingdui artefacts and the ancient Shu Bronze Age civilisation.
