Marketing and Digital Strategy Student Receives Scholarship from The Zubin Foundation

NAZAHAT-Riaz, a year-two student of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Marketing and Digital Strategy, proudly received the Young Women Scholarship 2021 from The Zubin Foundation in November 2021.

The Scholarship, with an amount of HK$20,000 per awardee, aims to recognise the academic performance of female ethnic minority students pursuing degree or sub-degree studies in Hong Kong and cover some of their learning expenses.

“It’s my great honour to be one of the awardees of the Young Women Scholarship. I would like to thank my sponsor, Ms Sonya Mahbubani, for her generosity,” said Riaz.

Riaz was admitted to PolyU SPEED after graduating from the Associate in Business programme of PolyU HKCC in 2019 under the 2+2 articulation pathway provided by the PolyU-affiliated College of Professional and Continuing Education.

“Marketing and Digital Strategy have been my academic interest because of the ample opportunities brought about by the rising demand for digital strategy in companies around the globe. I recently saw a significant improvement in my academic studies in PolyU SPEED because of the clear and defined career path I have in mind. I have been given various opportunities to explore my interests through many activities and workshops. I will continue to strive for excellence and map out my endless journey,” said Riaz.
