PolyU CPCE and Chiang Mai University Business School Sign MoU to Foster Academic Exchange and Research Cooperation
20 Aug 2025
PolyU CPCE and Chiang Mai University Business School have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking the beginning of a comprehensive collaboration which covers multiple key areas, including the exchange of academic staff and students, joint research initiatives and promotion of research outputs, as well as the organisation of cross-border extracurricular activities, providing a richer international learning platform for both institutions.
To celebrate this collaboration, Dr Kemakorn Chaiprasit, Assistant Professor from Chiang Mai University Business School, led a student delegation to visit the PolyU West Kowloon Campus on 20 August 2025. During the visit, Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE, delivered a special lecture on "Medical Tourism: Implications for Hong Kong and Thailand", sharing valuable insights and fostering academic dialogue in medical tourism and health economics between the two regions.
This collaboration not only strengthens the ties between the two institutions but also lays a solid foundation for future educational cooperation between Southeast Asia and the Greater Bay Area.
