RCGB Research Workshop: Quantifying Nature Risk

On 22 July 2026, PolyU SPEED’s Research Centre for Green Business (RCGB) hosted a research workshop featuring Mr Jacob Hung from S&P Global.

The session introduced S&P Global’s Nature & Biodiversity Risk dataset, a tool for assessing nature-related impacts and dependencies across a company’s operations. Participants gained practical insights into application of the dataset, while strengthening their understanding of how biodiversity and ecosystem-related data informs academic research, empirical analysis and sustainability-focused business studies.
