Seminar on Gen AI × ESG in Business

On 3 June 2026, PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management and PolyU SPEED’s Research Centre for Green Business (RCGB) jointly hosted the Seminar on “Gen AI × ESG in Business” at Hotel ICON. Supported by the Inter‑Institutional Development Scheme, the event brought together academic and industry experts to explore the role of generative AI in advancing sustainable business practices. 

Dr Wilton Fok, Associate Dean (Student Enrichment) of the Faculty of Engineering, and Director of the Sport Artificial Intelligence Lab at The University of Hong Kong, delivered an insightful presentation on integrating generative AI into ESG frameworks, highlighting the growing synergy between artificial intelligence and sustainability.

The seminar sparked lively discussion among participants, offering fresh perspectives on the potential of AI‑driven solutions to shape responsible business practices and advance the ESG agenda.
