Hotel Tours and Workshops for Hospitality Students

In October 2023, PolyU SPEED and PolyU HKCC students studying hospitality related programmes had the opportunity to participate in interesting hotel tours and workshops. Here are the highlights:

Cordis, Hong Kong 
Students from BHMH1102 "Hotel Operations" visited Cordis, Hong Kong, gaining firsthand insights into hotel management and operations.

Food and Wine Pairing Workshop 
Students taking "Introduction to Wine" and "Wine and Spirit Studies" subjects enjoyed a workshop on food and wine pairing, expanding their knowledge in sensory experiences and culinary trends.

Regent Hong Kong  
Students from BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management visited Regent Hong Kong, experiencing the standards of service in a luxury hotel setting.
These learning experiences provided valuable industry exposure and practical skills, bridging the gap between theory and practice for our students in the field of hospitality management.
