PolyU SPEED Summer Placement Scholarship Programme 2017 Showcases the Talents of “Future Me”

PolyU SPEED organises Work-Integrated Education (WIE) and Summer Placement Scholarship Programmes in collaboration with different companies annually to provide students with scholarship or summer placement opportunities. The Programmes aim to enrich students’ work experience and boost their competitiveness for further career development.

This summer from 17 July to 31 August 2017, PolyU SPEED students worked as interns on the “Future Me” event, which was co-organised by Olympian City of Sino Group and "The Chin Family", an independent education platform managed by Investor Education Centre.

The internship programme attracted overwhelming response from PolyU SPEED students. After several rounds of selection by the representatives of Sino Group, 16 PolyU SPEED students were selected as interns. They handled tasks such as preparation and planning work, management of on-site operations and customer service in the event.
